Love to care? We would love to hear from you. We are looking for an experienced carer at Firgrove House, a small friendly family run residential home. Rated “Outstanding” by CQC, we are looking to recruit a new permanent member to join our team. Due to Covid 19 restrictions the applicant must have experience in the care industry and NVQ/QCF 2 and above beneficial. This must be your only care role, and not a second job, to reduce the risk of working in 2 environments. Previous Medication administration, and infection control experience and training would also be preferred. You will need to have a enhanced Adults DBS issued within the last 3 years. (or be able to apply online with instructions from us)

The applicant will need to have excellent communication skills, and must be reliable.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for caring and be able to work well within a team and independently under your own initiative. You will be part of a team responsible for the physical, emotional, and social needs of up to 18 clients; including those with dementia needs in a caring, kind and respectful manner; ensuring their dignity and self-respect is maintained.
Our shift patterns are 8am-2pm, 2pm-8pm, 8pm – 8am. Including Week and Weekend Shifts. We have part time hours available, plus additional bank hours for holiday, sickness cover.
· Current rates of pay range from £8.80 to £9.90 depending on shift and NVQ/QCF level.
· Double time is paid for bank holidays.
· Friday, Saturday & Sunday nights paid at Weekend Night Rate
