We are currently looking for an experienced and shift flexible carer at Firgrove House, a small friendly family run residential home. Rated “Outstanding” by CQC, we are looking to recruit new members to join our team. The applicant must have experience in the care industry and NVQ 2 and above beneficial. Previous Medication administration experience and training would also be preferred. You will need to have a enhanced Adults DBS issued within the last 3 years. (or be able to apply online with instructions from us)
This may suit someone looking to help during these difficult times, who may have been previously employed in care, or someone looking for a change. If you have a passion to help people then we would love to hear from you. Currently this role is for part time flexible hours to help us with absence and holiday cover on a permanent basis. Due to government guidance this needs to be your only role in a health care environment.
The applicant will need to have excellent communication skills, and must be reliable.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for caring and be able to work well within a team and independently under your own initiative. You will be part of a team responsible for the physical, emotional, and social needs of up to 18 clients; including those with dementia needs in a caring, kind and respectful manner; ensuring their dignity and self-respect is maintained.
Our shift patterns are 8am-2pm, 2pm-8pm, 8pm – 8am.
Current rates of pay range from £9.00 to £10.10 depending on shift and NVQ/QCF level.
Double time is paid for bank holidays.
Friday, Saturday & Sunday paid at Weekend Night Rate
DBS & Initial Uniform supplied by employer (T&C’s apply)
